Get your first draft out

"Get your first draft out on paper, no matter how horrible it is. Starting is the hardest part and so often we let our fear of not being perfect stop us from writing at all. So, write the most uninteresting, unfunny, incoherent draft known to man.

"Revel in your terribleness! Once you have that nightmare of a first draft, all you have to do is make it better. It is infinitely easier to rewrite something that already exists than it is to write your magnum opus on a random Tuesday afternoon.

“Find the good story in your very bad draft.
"
