Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Heather Morrison says Paxlovid prescriptions on P.E.I. have gone down significantly since the pandemic was at its height, from more than 100 a week to roughly six to 12 a week. Despite that, she says Paxlovid still has an important role to play in protecting immunocompromised Islanders.
