Saturday

The World Happiness Survey says Canadians are less happy than usual. Apparently, people under the age of 30 are the unhappiest. Just Asking guest host Marcia Young is here with an exploration of happiness and more.

With the 2025 Juno Awards coming to Vancouver, CBC’s Grant Lawrence pays a visit to share some Juno events he'll be a part of this weekend, as well as preview his new series coming to NXNW this spring.

Continuing our March series about museums, Nika Collison discusses the closing event for the Haida Gwaii Museum exhibit Jackie Bell: The Messenger.

You may know Rohit Joseph best as the host of Vibin' on CBC Music. Rohit drops in to give us a rundown of the B.C. Juno nominees, the events he'll be hosting, and Sum 41's apparent final show as a band.

The 604 Decades Open House Gallery is a celebration of Vancouver’s indie rock scene from the 80s to early 2000s. Jonathan Simkin and Joseph Martin of 604 Records share what inspired them to revisit the past.

Sunday

Bollywed is back with a third season on CBC Gem. Chandan Singh joins us to talk about what people can expect from his family this season and what it was like for him to go to India to witness his parents redo their wedding vows.

Concerns are growing around AI and how it could contribute to election interference. For more on how people can spot the misinformation, CBC’s Missy Johnson speaks with David Gerhard, a computer science professor at the University of Manitoba.

We'll revisit Margaret Gallagher's conversation with singer-songwriter Kym Gouchie. Her latest album, Shun Beh Nats’ujeh/We Are Healing Through Songs, is nominated for Children's Album of the Year at the 2025 JUNO Awards.

The page turns as we do a bookstore check-in with Sea & Summit Bookshop in Parksville, B.C. Co-owner Kristie Lauer offers her top recommendations for this month and beyond.

Dene spoken word artist Tawahum Bige discusses the relationship between grief, Two-Spirit identity and voice, as explored in his new poetry collection Stages of Tanning Words and Remembering Spells.

604 Records Gets Nostalgic

Ahead of the Junos, 604 Records is hosting an exhibit called 604 Decades Open House Gallery. Jeremy Ratt visits it to talk about Vancouver’s indie rock scene from the late 80s through to the early 2000s. The event will host a panel discussion including CBC’s Grant Lawrence, and there will be musical performances as well. It takes place on Saturday, March 29, at 795 East Cordova St. in Vancouver.
