Set under the backdrop of Vancouver, the book follows Devinder Gill as he prepares to attend his nephew's wedding. While Dev raises two kids with his wife Kuldip, he holds a terrible secret: he's having an affair with Emily Rice, an Irish Canadian woman and his first love. With both women attending the wedding, Devinder is unprepared for what the day will entail for his life, love, and family. | | | | | | | | Dorothy Grant: Raven Runs Full Circle | | On July 6, the Haida Gwaii Museum opened Dorothy Grant: Raven Runs Full Circle. The exhibit is a retrospective celebrating the acclaimed Haida fashion designer and chronicling her artistic journey over 40 years.

Lenore is the director of the Food and Agriculture Institute at the University of the Fraser Valley and an acclaimed author who often writes on food history and culture. She'll guide us through the history of the donut and its unique role in Canadian culture. She also shares a few B.C. doughnut shop faves.
