Yukon's chief coroner has confirmed her office is investigating the death of someone in a public bathroom at Whitehorse General Hospital.

N.W.T. canoe trip turns into emergency evacuation as paddlers flee wildfire

Forty-two paddlers from Gamètì, N.W.T., had to be rescued after a wildfire approached their campsite early Sunday morning. They had been making their way to the Tłı̨chǫ annual gathering to meet up with paddlers from 2 other communities, in Behchokǫ̀.
