The Canadian National Institute for the Blind's (CNIB) B.C.-Yukon division brought a "mobile hub" to downtown Whitehorse on Wednesday. It was a chance for people to access services offered by CNIB, participate in workshops, and learn about assistive technologies and peer support in communities.

A huge crowd in Inuvik, N.W.T., celebrated Inuvialuit Day on Wednesday. The event marked the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement. A community feast and cultural demonstrations were held at the rec complex. The CBC's Dez Loreen stopped by to check it out.

The Yukon Electoral District Boundaries Commission held its first public hearing to discuss proposed changes to Yukon's electoral ridings in Watson Lake. Close to 35 people attended the meeting. Many spoke up against the proposed change to merge the communities of Watson Lake, Ross River, and Faro into one district.
