The hospital will be closing at least one, possibly two, of its three operating rooms next month. One patient referred for a follow-up colonoscopy eight months ago. She has debilitating stomach aches, and fears she'll be waiting another year for the appointment.

Police are investigating two separate incidents that occurred on 47th Street in Yellowknife on Saturday. A suspicious death was reported at around 3 a.m., and a firearms complaint at Hilltop apartments led to multiple arrests late on Saturday evening.
