A Labrador MHA says people who die in Nain are being treated with "utter disrespect" in the morgue at the community's Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services clinic, where the cooling system has been broken for up to two years.

The Canadian offshore fleet is entitled to six per cent of the northern cod quota. Groups, including the FFAW, say trawlers like the Calvert will damage the stock. Paula Gale, host of CBC Radio's The Broadcast, went aboard the Ocean Choice International-owned vessel and spoke with the company's president, Blaine Sullivan.
