The Juno-nominated Aysanabee is an Oji-Cree musician from the Sucker Clan of Sandy Lake First Nation whose anthems from the soul are rooted in his culture and informed by his grandfather's wisdom. Aysanabee recently performed in St.John's to kick off the Spirit Song Festival. The CBC's Amanda Gear spoke to him about his skyrocketing career.
