Oil production in N.L. faces steep decline, could disappear completely by 2050; The Hercules semi-submersible drill rig is now anchored off Bay Bulls, where is it receiving supplies before heading offshore to drill an exploration well for ExxonMobil Canada and its partner, Qatar Energy\. The well will be drilled in a prospect called Gale, located in the southern Orphan Basin\.
