More than a year since a Winnipeg motorcyclist was hit by a drunk driver on Talbot Ave., a city courtroom heard how the crash has left the victim and his family with lifelong physical and psychological pain.

The curtain will run just under two kilometres from the west side of Riding Mountain National Parks' Boat Cove to Clear Lake's main beach in Wasagaming. The impermeable curtain is trying to contain an area where a zebra mussel and partial shells were found in mid-July by Parks Canada snorkellers.
