The time has come: tonight are the 2025 Juno Awards, which you can watch from wherever you are, however you want. It’s going to be a big night: B.C.’s own Michael Bublé is back for his third time as host, and we’re promised a special performance that includes him, Elisapie, Jonita Gandhi, Maestro Fresh Wes and Roxane Bruneau. And the most Juno winningest artist of all time, Anne Murray, will be rightfully given her Lifetime Achievement Award.
Hot tip: if you’d like to hear the beloved Juno Songwriters’ Circle event from this year on the radio (or via your Listen app), you can tune in to CBC Music at the following times to hear incredible performances from Nemahsis, Sarah Harmer, Leif Vollebekk, Lowell and more: 6 p.m. AT, 5 p.m. ET, 4 p.m. CT, 1 p.m. MT and 7 p.m. PT. | | | | | | | | | There are so many Juno events this weekend that it’s hard to keep up — but we’re on the ground to catch every thrilling moment for you. Whether it's Elisapie’s stunning performance at the Juno Songwriters’ Circle or Snotty Nose Rez Kids winning their first Juno Award, we'll be covering Juno Week so you don't miss a thing. | | | | | | | | | The 2025 Juno Awards Gala took place on March 29, co-hosted by CBC Music Mornings host Damhnait Doyle and actor Supinder Wraich. More than 40 awards were given out, including some history-making wins and some firsts for Nemahsis, Snotty Nose Rez Kids and Lowell.
David Suzuki also presented Sarah Harmer with the Humanitarian Award, but not before co-host Doyle called him an "environmental daddy." | | | | | | | | | For the final Juno Session — the series where Canadian musicians cover the artists who have won the songwriter of the year Juno Award — singer-songwriter Tia Wood brings her smooth touch to the Weeknd's 2015 tune, The Hills. | | | | | | | | | Toronto producer Boi-1da is set to receive the International Achievement Award at this year’s Juno Awards, an honour which recognizes artists "who have attained exemplary success on the world stage." The Toronto producer has been crafting hits for nearly two decades and has worked with some of music’s biggest stars including Drake, Jay-Z, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj. He stopped by CBC Music to discuss 5 songs that impacted his life, including music from Eminem, Drake (of course), Rihanna and more. | | | | | | | | | The Road to the Junos continues! Over five nights, CBC Music broadcast a series of live concerts from some of the best artists in the Vancouver area as part of our Road to the Junos series. | | | | | | | | | In this special edition of our weekly column, we highlight new releases from this year's Juno nominees — including the new track about intoxicating romance by real-life item Tate McRae and Kid Laroi. | | | | | Thanks so much for joining us for this issue of Listen Up!
