Why you won’t see Canadian news on Instagram anymore

This week, Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram, announced it would no longer allow Canadian news sites to post on their platforms. This is because of a new bill passed by the Canadian government that requires these sites to pay news organizations for using their content. These kids want to see Taylor Swift in Canada, but they say it’s a long shot

This week, Taylor Swift announced six long-awaited Canadian stops for her Eras Tour.. While many Canadian fans have been eager for the pop star to visit up north, they still may not be able to see any of her shows. That’s because all six stops in November 2024 are at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, meaning any fans outside of the city would have to pay to travel if they hope to see the singer. The huge demand and high price of tickets could mean even those close by could be out of luck. Read our article to find out how two young Swifties feel about the upcoming shows, and whether they will be able to go.
