A full eight months after Queen Elizabeth’s death, her son, King Charles, will be at the centre of an elaborate coronation ceremony that is expected to attract millions of viewers. People are already camping out to catch a glimpse. But isn’t Charles already King? Why isn’t everyone on board with the coronation, despite all the hubbub? King Charles isn’t the only one being crowned this spring! On April 24, this rescue dog named Patch won Drake University’s Beautiful Bulldog Contest. The two-year-old British bulldog beat out 28 other contestants during the annual pageant in Des Moines, Iowa. Patch wore a jean jacket when she strutted down the runway and a satin cape and crown after she won.
