What does prorogue mean? Take a guess

 

The word prorogue has been circulating in the news this week and has been causing quite the stir in Ottawa. As much as we’d like it to be a fancy word for pierogi, it dates back 140 years ago and means to prolong or postpone. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has prorogued parliament until Sept. 23 to have more time to reset and plan the recovery of the pandemic but he’s facing criticism, too. Read the full story.

Updated back-to-school COVID-19 rules across Canada

“September is right around the corner, which means we all have to go back to school very soon. I know...  I know I'm going to miss this long break too, but with COVID-19 still around, we must continue to social distance, even while at school. The new rules and formats have been updated to ensure everyone will be safe. As a teen myself who will be going back to school in the coming weeks, I think it's important to always be prepared beforehand.
