2025 BIPOC Youth Fellowship at Ricochet

Ricochet Media and Journalists for Human Rights provide this fellowship for BIPOC students, new grads, and early-career journalists between the ages of 19 and 29. Sir Harry Evans Global Fellowship

This fellowship offers an early career journalist nine months paid work with Durham University and Reuters. The fellow will undertake an investigative project from a Reuters newsroom in London, New York, Sydney or Toronto, with support from Durham’s Institute of Advanced Studies. Digital Arts Resource Centre (DARC) Indigenous Residency

DARC’s Indigenous Residency is a one-month intensive on-site artist residency, offered to mid-career First Nations, Inuit, and Métis audiovisual artists seeking to develop their current practice, experiment with a new medium, or continue an existing project. For details and to apply by June 30, visit https://digitalartsresourcecentre.ca/indigenous-residency/

Programme Premiers Peuples - Raconte-nous ton histoire

This 4-week paid training program, taking place in November, supports French-speaking Indigenous communicators to share their voices on Radio-Canada platforms. Entirely virtual, the training will focus primarily on narrative storytelling. In addition to gaining practical knowledge from Indigenous and non-Indigenous trainers, participants will have the opportunity to  tell their stories, and to showcase their community, language, realities, and successes. New Indigenous Voices participants announced

 
 

The National Screen Institute welcomes 10 participants to the 2025 edition of CBC New Indigenous Voices, a full-time, 14-week immersive training program for emerging Indigenous creators aged 18 and over.
