A celebrity photo causes an internet sensation for Truro artist

It looks like Timotheé Chalamet is wearing a Grace Tompkins design, but looks can be deceiving. Tompkins' Three Black Cats-inspired sweater design, based on Maud Lewis' 1955 painting, went viral recently after a photo was edited to make it look like the actor was wearing it.

What's the personal story behind how you're voting in the next federal election? Share it on CBC News

Sometime in 2025, Canada will have a federal election. It could be as early as this spring. We all vote for different reasons. And sometimes we choose not to vote. CBC News wants to make sure your voice is heard.

What's the one issue that matters the most to you? Do you have a specific personal story that illustrates your experience? We're looking for several people from across the country to publish their perspectives on CBC. Not the same political talking heads, but real people with real stakes.

Declared dead by Service Canada, N.B. woman still trying to get life back

It took Cathy Adams almost seven weeks to realize she was dead. When the New Brunswick woman checked her bank account recently, her Old Age Security and CPP benefits hadn't been deposited. Service Canada blames human error, says 'corrective action' has been taken.

Offering breaking and live news coverage with the professionalism and personality that he is known for, Hanomansing Tonight will broadcast weeknights from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. AT / 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. NT on CBC News Network, and will also be available to stream anytime on CBC Gem with on-demand segments on YouTube.
