They’re facing the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Final. The Oilers have won the Stanley Cup five times, but not since 1990. Many fans believe this could be their year thanks to star Leon Draisaitl, who has already scored six goals in the playoffs this season. They said the level of human suffering in Gaza is intolerable. Experts say this message to Israel is stronger than the ones they’ve sent before and it’s aimed at putting more pressure on Israel. The fighting between Israel and Gaza started after a deadly attack on Israel by Gaza-based Hamas militants on Oct. 7, 2023. Israel had blocked humanitarian aid going into Gaza for months, but this week, it started letting some in again. The joint statement said that’s not enough.
