WATCH — Leafs vs. Panthers. Who will win 2nd round of Stanley Cup playoffs?

 

While the Toronto Maple Leafs may be down 3-2 in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, there’s still a chance for the Canadian team to beat the Florida Panthers and advance to the next round. WATCH — Ayami Sato is 1st woman to play professional men’s baseball in Canada

 

Did you know Canada has a professional baseball team called the Toronto Maple Leafs? It gets even more interesting. Last week, the team debuted Ayami Sato and she became the first woman ever to play professional men’s baseball in Canada. The 35-year-old pitcher from Japan threw one strikeout and didn’t allow any runners on base. Join KN contributor Matthew Hines to learn more about Sato and why the Intercounty Baseball League of southern Ontario says this is a significant milestone for women in the sport.
